Installing Cody for JetBrains
Install via the JetBrains Marketplace
Open your JetBrains IDE and navigate to the plugins marketplace. Search for Cody: AI Coding Assistant, and click on install. Once the plugin is installed, you will have to restart your IDE.
Connect to your Account
Once installed, you'll need to connect the plugin to your Sourcegraph account, the same way you connect for VS Code. Select either Cody Free or Cody Pro users to use your Sourcegraph.com account, or, choose the Sourcegraph Enterprise option if your company hosts it's own instance of sourcegraph
If you are using an Enterprise instance, ensure the URL you're using is valid and accessible. If you are unsure, please contact your administrator
Verify Installation
Once connected, you can verify that Cody has installed successfully by opening any file and clicking the Cody icon in the sidebar. This will open a new chat window.
As you start typing, Cody will provide code completions and suggestions.
